With great success, especially rapid success, come great challenges, and this organisation was smart enough to realise what it faced. In the growth of all companies comes a time where the owner-manager has to release a few of the reins, and the staff have to be there, ready, willing and able, to take up the slack.
Both parts of this necessary change are difficult, for very different reasons. The first step we took in helping this organisation was a check that this was really what everyone wanted and was willing to accept - because there would be no going back. They were, and so, throughout the course, we looked openly at all the potential pitfalls and difficulties, so we could anticipate the impact of change and work together through it.
