training case study
A dynamic company. Young managers in significant positions of authority, with incredible responsibility for training and developing part-time, short-term staff.
A classic example of young managers needing to train even younger members of staff in a situation where the manager is not always available and the ranges of decisions needing to be made in their absence is both wide ranging and requiring rapid response.
We developed a programme to train these young managers in “non-directive coaching” - the ability to teach, train and coach without simply providing a list of answers. This was essential, as a rule book would be too long and too inflexible for this company’s situation.
We helped the group develop skills in developing others, and the company goes from strength to strength.
